Bio

Since graduating with a B.A. in acting in 2022, Siggi Ingvarsson has quickly built a notable career across film, television, and theatre.
His screen credits include Johan Sveinsson in the fourth season of Killing Eve, Jonas in Baltasar Kormákur's Focus Features film Touch (which garnered numerous awards and was shortlisted for Oscar's best Foreign Film), a lead part in Summerlight… and Then Comes the Night (winner of Best Nordic Film at SBIFF 2022) and Ragnar Arinbjarnar, ex-husband of the first female president in the world, in the biographical series Vigdis.
On stage, Siggi has experience in both independent productions and major venues like the Reykjavík City Theatre. His significant theatre roles include a lead in the musical Jagged Little Pill (2024), the title role in the biographical play Kjarval (2024).
Currently, Siggi is performing Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof where he plays the leading role, Brick which has had a great run for the past few months at Reykjavik City Theatre.
Siggi is a diverse performer skilled in singing and dancing. He possesses practical experience in horseback riding and fighting/stunts, applicable to both stage and film productions. Multilingual, he has performed professionally in English, Swedish, and German, and also speaks Spanish fluently. Siggi holds a strong personal enthusiasm for the Icelandic Sagas and the Age of Sturlungs period of Icelandic history.
