Elly (2024)

Elly is the most performed Icelandic theatre show in history. A musical dramatization of the life of Elly Vilhjálms — Iceland's most beloved mid‑20th‑century singers—staged at Borgarleikhúsið, originally premiering March 18, 2017. It ran for over 250 performances, drawing over 100,000 guests, and has since been restaged due to popular demand. Siggi took on the role of Elly's husband, jazz guitarist Jón Páll Bjarnason, appearing in over 30 performances.
